Partnering with the Rio Grande Valley Community

Community-based services provide families with needed resources and information. Education professionals who learn about their community’s resources and connect families with these resources provide an important bridge to services for families.

ENGLISH/SPANISH OPTIONS

Build the community with family partnerships: Engage families/Involve families in discussions.

Use a strengths-based approach: Learn about the strengths that families bring to your program and engage families around the strengths and successes they have with their child. Support families and have conversations with them to identify their kids strengths, and to connect those strengths to the interactions they have with their child.
